Terms of Service

Version 2026-09-12

These terms are the agreement between you and SeoScore for using seoscore.lt. By registering or using the service you accept them. If you disagree with any clause, do not use the service.

The refund policy applies alongside them and forms part of these terms. The privacy policy is not part of the contract — it is information about data processing under Article 13 GDPR.

1. Who provides the service

SeoScore (seoscore.lt) currently operates without a legal entity, and that has one direct consequence: public payments are not enabled. Plans are granted manually by email at info@seoscore.lt, and we will start accepting paid subscriptions only once the full provider details — name, registration number and address — appear in this clause.

2. What the service consists of

The service has two parts. They differ not in name but in when they are supplied and what they cost us.

2.1. The initial full audit

This is a self-contained part of the service, supplied immediately and in one go. The scanner fetches the domain you name — on a paid plan up to 100 pages — and runs 396 checks across five areas: SEO, GEO, AEO, speed and security. You receive every shortcoming found, its explanation, its score impact, the suggested actions, and the ability to export all of it to PDF, XLSX or a developer handoff document.

Running this audit causes us real and irreversible costs: server CPU time, crawling infrastructure, external API requests (for example Google PageSpeed) and, where you use AI features, paid requests to AI models. Those costs are incurred during the audit and cannot be recovered.

A large part of the value reaches you right here: you learn your site's specific shortcomings and can fix them even if you never use SeoScore again.

2.2. The ongoing workspace

The second part is supplied throughout the paid period and exists for working with the audit results:

3. Limits and quotas

Free use:

There is no automatic rescanning: a scan runs only when you start it. The single exception is the weekly check and email digest for a paid domain, which you can turn off.

Scanning, AI and crawling operations carry real variable costs, so we reserve the right to apply reasonable technical limits and to change them. A change that reduces an allowance you have already paid for takes effect no earlier than the next billing period.

4. Your account

5. Your right to scan a domain

The most important clause here. One click on our side turns into dozens of requests to someone else's server, so the answer to "is this allowed" depends on you, not on us.

By entering a domain you represent and warrant that:

We have no technical means to verify this and we do not hide it: we do not check domain ownership, except where you connect Google Search Console yourself. Responsibility for the lawfulness of a scan is therefore yours; the consequences are in clause 15.

On our side the scanner keeps to its own ethics, and that is code rather than a promise: we respect robots.txt, cap concurrent requests, honour Crawl-delay, and allow no more than 2 scans per day for one domain.

6. When several people manage one domain

You can give other people access to your domain (in your account — Team). The invited person sees that domain's audit, can run scans and use the work list with the rights your plan gives; they cannot invite anyone else or remove the domain.

The declaration in clause 5 applies when a scan is started by someone you invited: you put that domain on the team. The invited person sees your email address and that domain's data, but not your other domains, your subscription or your account settings. You can withdraw access at any time — it stops working the same second.

7. What is not allowed

Found a security flaw? Email info@seoscore.lt. We welcome good-faith reports; please hold off on publishing before a fix is out.

8. Report access

A report is a personal document. Only its signed-in owner — the person whose account started the scan — can open it; the link alone grants no access. For a scan started without an account the report is shown in trimmed form and only within the same browser session; registering assigns that scan to your account.

To hand a report to a client or a developer, use the export. The exported PDF names the recipient and the time it was issued. The service administrator has technical access to reports — required to operate the service, to verify audit quality and to handle payment disputes.

9. Intellectual property and licence

10. Prices, subscription and payment

10.1. Standard price and commitment plan

Business customers are offered two routes, and what differs is not the service but the price:

Both prices and the size of the discount are shown at checkout before payment, and a commitment plan can be chosen only through a separate checkbox that is not ticked in advance.

10.2. Price reconciliation on early termination

You may end a commitment plan at any time — we do not intend to restrict that. But the reduced price was given for a condition, and where the condition is not met the standard price is restored for the services already supplied:

difference = (standard price − reduced price) × months used in the current unfinished term

This is not a penalty but a recalculation at the standard rate: you pay for what you received, at the price that applies without the condition. The amount never exceeds the discount actually granted.

Only the current unfinished term is counted. Once a commitment term is completed, the discounts for that term become final and are never recalculated; a new term begins. Terminating in the fifth year recalculates only the current unfinished months, not the four years past.

The amount is based on the prices that applied on the day of purchase and were shown at checkout, not on a later price list. It appears as a separate line on the final invoice, and we email you the detailed calculation.

10.3. Types of discount

Which type applies is shown at checkout and stored together with your confirmation. In case of doubt the milder type — promotional — applies.

11. Right of withdrawal and refunds

The full rules are in the refund policy. In summary:

Cancelling a subscription is not a refund. Cancellation stops the next automatic payment; it does not by itself return the price of a service already lawfully supplied.

11.1. Business customers

The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to legal entities or to anyone buying for business or professional purposes: it exists for consumers. You declare which you are in your account settings — by choosing "An individual" or "A legal entity" and supplying the details. The choice and its time are recorded.

At purchase that declaration is captured and attached to the invoice. You may change the details later — companies change, addresses change — but a change applies to future purchases only: an invoice already issued, and the declaration attached to it, do not change. Switching from a legal entity to an individual does not create a 14-day right retroactively.

A business customer is covered by clause 6 of the refund policy (we refund when you did not receive the service or it did not work) and by the price reconciliation in 10.2 where a commitment plan was chosen. Termination is possible at any time; reconciliation is not an obstacle to leaving but a settlement for services already supplied.

12. Service performance records

So that we can confirm the service was supplied and handle payment disputes, we keep performance and usage records: the start and end time of an audit, the fact that the report was delivered, its views and exports, use of AI features, and the related technical data (time, IP address, browser).

These records may be used to substantiate that the service was supplied, to keep the service secure, and to handle payment disputes. What exactly we keep, on what legal basis and for how long is in clause 2.8 of the privacy policy.

The records survive account deletion as far as needed to establish or defend legal claims. You may request a copy of your own records at any time.

13. What we do not guarantee

This clause is written plainly, because any other wording would be marketing — and we write findings against unsupported claims ourselves.

The service is provided as is. This clause does not reduce consumer rights arising from mandatory Lithuanian or European Union law, including the right to conformity of the service with the contract.

14. Processing on your client's behalf (GDPR Article 28)

This clause applies when you use the service for your client's website. You are then the controller or act on the controller's instruction, and we are the processor. These terms, accepted at registration, are the written contract required by Article 28(3) GDPR.

You are responsible for having a legal basis to submit your client's website and their Search Console data for auditing.

15. Your responsibility and indemnity

You will reimburse us for reasonable loss and expense, including reasonable legal costs, arising from third-party claims based on a scan started by you or by someone you invited without the right declared in clause 5, a breach of clause 7, or the absence of the legal basis referred to in clause 14.

This does not apply to the extent the loss was caused by our own acts, and it does not reduce consumer rights arising from mandatory law. We notify you of any claim without delay and do not admit it without your consent.

16. Limitation of liability and availability

We are not liable for indirect loss: lost profit, lost traffic, reputation, or the cost of restoring data. Our total liability does not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months before the loss arose, or EUR 100 in the case of free use.

The cap does not apply to wilful misconduct, gross negligence, harm to life or health, or any case where the law does not permit liability to be limited.

We do not offer a guaranteed uptime (SLA): the service may be unavailable due to updates, failures or third-party limits. We may change, add and remove features; if something you paid for is materially reduced, you may terminate and get a refund for the unused part.

17. Suspension, termination and changes to these terms

When we change these terms we change the version date at the top and give notice of material changes by email at least 14 days in advance. If you disagree you may terminate before they take effect; continuing to use the service is taken as acceptance. When you accepted, and which version, is stored with your account.

18. Governing law, disputes and other

The law of the Republic of Lithuania applies. We settle disputes by correspondence first: write to info@seoscore.lt and we reply within 14 days. Failing that, a consumer may apply to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (vvtat.lt); the right to go to the court of your place of residence remains. Other disputes are heard by the courts of the Republic of Lithuania.
