Refunds and cancellation

Version 2026-09-12

This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. In short: the initial full audit is delivered at once, so its price remains payable if you withdraw; the unused part of the ongoing workspace is refunded.

1. What you are buying

The service has two parts, and refunds work differently for each (see clause 2 of the terms):

2. Consent to immediate performance

Before the initial full audit starts, we ask you with a separate checkbox to confirm two things:

Without that confirmation we do not start the audit. We store it with the date, the policy version, the exact text you were shown and your IP address, and we email you the confirmation of the contract on the same terms before performance begins.

3. When the audit counts as fully performed

The moment the report becomes available in your account. From then the initial audit is a fully performed service and the right of withdrawal does not apply to it (Article 16(a), Directive 2011/83/EU).

The report stays with you even if you cancel the subscription — which is exactly why its delivery is the dividing line.

4. What we refund if you withdraw

If you withdraw within 14 days after the audit, Article 14(3) requires you to pay a proportionate amount for what has been supplied. Because the price of the initial audit is stated separately (clause 10 of the terms), the full price of that part is included, and the workspace is charged for the days used:

refund = 15 % × (days in period − days used) ÷ days in period

We deliberately quote no amounts here: prices change, and a stale figure in a document is worse than a formula. You see the concrete calculation at checkout before paying, and by email if you withdraw.

Why 85 %. The initial audit is the part you receive in full and at once, and whose result stays with you even if you stop using the service: up to 100 pages, 396 checks, all findings and export. Its costs — crawling infrastructure, external APIs and AI requests — are incurred within the hour and cannot be recovered.

If you have not started the initial audit and have not used paid features, we refund in full, no questions asked. Write to info@seoscore.lt.

5. Cancellation is not a refund

Cancelling a subscription and getting money back are two different things, and they are worth keeping apart:

A period already started is not pro-rated — including when you did not use the tool during it. Automatic renewals do not create a new 14-day right of withdrawal: that right attaches to the contract, not to each payment.

6. When we do refund

Regardless of everything above:

Send your request to info@seoscore.lt with your account email and the payment date. We reply within 5 working days and, if granted, refund within 14 days by the same method you paid with.

7. When we do not refund

In these cases the money is not refunded, because the service was delivered and received:

On rankings specifically. We never guarantee, anywhere, that a site's rankings will rise. An audit is a measurement: it shows what fails technical requirements. Rankings not rising is therefore not a defect in the service and is not a ground for a refund.

Before buying you can scan your domain for free — up to 30 pages, without registering. The scope of the product is known in advance.

8. Business customers

The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to legal entities or to anyone buying for business purposes: it exists for consumers, meaning natural persons acting outside their trade or profession. You declare which you are in your account settings ("An individual" or "A legal entity" with details), and at purchase that declaration is captured and attached to the invoice. Changing the details later applies to future purchases only and does not create a right of withdrawal retroactively. Clause 6 applies to business customers.

8.1. Conditional discount and price reconciliation

On a commitment plan the price is reduced in exchange for a minimum term of use. You may terminate at any time, but the standard price is then restored for the services already supplied:

difference = (standard price − reduced price) × months used in the current unfinished term

This is not a penalty but a settlement at the standard rate for what was received. The amount never exceeds the discount actually granted, and only the current unfinished term is counted — completed terms become final and are never recalculated.

It appears as a separate line on the invoice, and we email the detailed calculation. It is based on the prices that applied on the day of purchase, not on a later price list.

8.2. Discount codes

9. Performance records

Whether the initial audit was performed is established from the service performance records: the audit's start and end time, delivery of the report, views, exports and use of AI features. See clause 12 of the terms and clause 2.8 of the privacy policy.

Deleting your account does not remove these records and does not create a right to reclaim the price of a service already supplied.

10. Before you go to your bank

If you believe a charge is wrong, write to us first. We reply within 5 working days, whereas a payment dispute through your bank usually takes anywhere from several weeks to several months and ends on the same question.

11. Changes to this policy

The current version is always published on this page with its date at the top. Material changes are announced 30 days in advance and apply from the next billing period. Your purchase is governed by the version you accepted when buying.
